CINCINNATI, OH, February 26, 2016 – Government Acquisitions, Inc. (GAI), a leading Federal Information Technology (IT) solutions provider and small business, today announced that it was awarded an Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-3 Hardware (ITES-3H) contract in coordination with the United States Army Contracting Command.
The selected group – eight large and nine small businesses – was chosen from a pool of 50 bidders, and will compete for task orders to provide servers, workstations, and other IT products and services to the Army, DoD, other Federal agencies, and authorized government contractors supporting these agencies.
The multiple firm-fixed, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a ceiling of $5 billion with a three-year base performance period and two one-year options. Army selected GAI to provide Federal agencies with commercial information technology (IT) equipment, including servers, workstations, PCs, networking equipment, storage environments, and other IT products. GAI delivers access to technology vendors including Dell, Splunk, Nutanix, HP, and Pure Storage as well as state-of-art solutions in areas such as Cyber Security, Big Data, and hyperconverged infrastructure.
“We are honored to be selected as an Army ITES-3H contract recipient,” says Jay Lambke, president, GAI. “We look forward to supporting the Army’s IT modernization goals with solutions that deliver on the vision of a secure, integrated, standards-based environment.”
In addition to ITES-3H, GAI delivers IT solutions to the Department of Defense, Federal civilian agencies, and the Intel community via a broad range of contract vehicles including NASA SEWP V, NIH CIO-CS, DHS FirstSource II, GSA Schedule, and a series of other IDIQ and BPA contracts.
