Cincinnati, OH March 26, 2012 – Government Acquisitions, Inc., a proven provider of optimized IT infrastructure solutions and a trusted advisor to the federal government, is pleased to announce the award of a prime contract for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Tactical Communications (TacCom) Equipment and Services Program. TacCom is a Multi-Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 2-year base and 3-one year options with a contract ceiling of $3 billion. The contract is open to all Department of Homeland Security Agencies, White House Communications Agency (WHCA), Department of the Interior, Department of State, and Department of Justice.

Government Acquisitions has partnered with industry leading manufacturers to support this contract with technologies and related services that further the program’s stated goal of “implementing fully interoperable solutions to support mission critical, public safety communications”.
