CINCINNATI, OH, Nov. 11, 2014 – Government Acquisitions, Inc. (GAI), a leading Federal Information Technology (IT) solutions provider and small business, today announced that it was awarded a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V (SEWP V) contract vehicle in the Small Business and SDVOSB group, otherwise known as “Group B and C.” GAI’s contract numbers are NNG15SD23B and NNG15SC78B.

Over 200 companies submitted proposals, and the select group of awardees will compete for delivery orders under the vehicle. Each firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a ceiling of $20 billion with an effective ordering period of 5 years with one 5 year option period. All NASA centers as well as all Federal agencies and approved contractors can order from SEWP V. NASA selected GAI based on past performance, advanced capabilities with competitive pricing, a mature, collaborative team, and a world-class partner ecosystem.
With the NASA SEWP V contract, GAI will provide Federal agencies with secure solutions for data center and network modernization, and migration to public, private, and hybrid cloud models. In addition, GAI will work with agencies as they support their increasingly mobile workforce, and work to harness and leverage Big Data. GAI delivers access to new solutions from vendors including Cisco, Dell, Hitachi, HP, Intel, and Juniper.
“We are honored to be a NASA SEWP V contract recipient,” says Jay Lambke, president, GAI. “This year, GAI celebrates 25 years of dedication to supporting the missions of our Federal customers. We understand the challenges – the need to shift from legacy systems and to new ways of thinking and new models for IT services. SEWP V provides a trusted path to progress.”
“Many believe Federal IT is at a tipping point,” says Prem Jadhwani, chief technology officer, GAI. “Data is growing at unprecedented rates. Keeping that data secure is more challenging than ever. But, virtualization, Big Data, and cloud solutions provide new opportunities. We support Federal agencies as they enhance and centralize IT service delivery, reduce downtime during migration cycles, and continue to shift from CapEx to OpEx. The goal is to innovate so you can keep up with the pace of change and efficiently support Federal mission success.”
Mr. Jadhwani will be speaking at the upcoming TribalNet “TribalNet 15” event this Wednesday, November 12 at 10 a.m. PT, as well as the MeriTalk “Stealing From Uncle Sam” event on Wednesday, November 19 at 11 a.m. ET.
In addition to SEWP V, GAI delivers IT solutions to the Department of Defense, Federal civilian agencies, and the Intel community via a broad range of contract vehicles including the NIH ECS III GWAC, GSA Schedule, and a series of other IDIQ and BPA contracts. The company has been honored for dedication to the mission with awards including the DHS “Outstanding Achievement Award,” the USDA “Small Business Achievement Award,” and the IRS “Small Business Partner of the Year Award.”
